The Ionic 3" nerf bars are made out of 16 ga Carbon Steel. After being made, they receive a black powder coat finish to help prevent rust or corrosion from forming. Installation
Most of our running boards require no drilling and use vehicle specific brackets to help make the installation a breeze. However, some of them do require minor drilling and will take some additional time to complete. Most installations can be completed in less than 1 hour, but if drilling is required it could take up to thirty extra minutes.
