Iron Cross 3" Stainless Wheel to Wheel Nerf Bars are made from high quality stainless steel tubes. Each Nerf Bar is mandrel bent to keep the original shape and strength. All tubes are hand polished, giving a legendary finish. A key feature of stainless steel is that if scratched, it can be repolished unlike other chrome plated tubes which may flake and rust.

Sometimes that is the body mount locations where the truck body attaches to the truck frame. Some vehicles like the Tundra, the vehicle is designed with mounting holes in the rocker panel.
