These Raptor stainless nerf bars (also called side step nerf bars) are made from some of the highest quality stainless available. The 304 series alloy is polished to a mirror-finish and will stay that way for years and years with no pitting/corrosion due to the elements. Raptor also offers a unique step pad that is raised rather than flush with the tubes. This means that you get a larger step area than many of the other brand nerf bars out there. Raptor claims their step pads are 15% wider than the competition. As described above, most models require no-drilling and is easily installed with simple hand tools.

If you prefer a different finish, these nerf bars are also available in black powder coat finish. The strength is the same with both finishes!

Speaking of strength, when you get nerf bars, you are going to want to get them made out of stainless steel, and not mild steel. Stainless steel has a higher yield (bending) strength than mild steel, and mild steel will end up rusting over the years. Yes, mild steel nerf bars are less expensive, but they won't last nearly as long!

Some models have 15 degree bends on both ends of each tube

Some models have 90 degree bends on both ends
Some models have a single 90 bend in front, straight in the rear
