The polished end caps have a nice mirror finish, rather than ‘black plastic’. This means the step pads are the only ‘black’ part on the bars. Speaking of the step pads, note that Romik uses recessed (depressed) step pads. They aren’t ‘cut out’, so this means the strength of the bars is retained!
